Rom 2:3  And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

What this verse means to me is that; 1: I need not to judge the faults of others because I am guilty of the same thing. 2: There  is no escaping the judgement of God. I will have to answer to Him for all my works as a Christian, whether they be good or bad.

Rom 2:4  Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Do I consider what the Lord has done for me ? DO I take into mind His goodness towards me, or do I consider that God has stayed his hand during my acts of defiance, or do I consider that God has been most patient with me, a sinner continually? God has been, and is, so good to me, it ought to humble me and bring me into repentance for my sins.
