DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

We believe that there is one God who is Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, immutable, eternal and holy. While we hold that there is but one God and that the divine nature is undivided and indivisible, that there are three distinct personalities in the God-head: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He was born of a virgin, therefore being all God and all man. He lived a sinless life, died a vicarious and atoning death, physically rose from the dead on the third day, and ascended to the right hand of the Father.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity. It is He who brings conviction to and regenerates the lost. In the life of the believer He bears witness, teaches, guides, leads, intercedes, and calls to service.

We accept the Holy Bible as the inspired, inerrant Word of God and that it is the only authority for faith and practice. We believe that the Bible is composed of sixty=six books that were written by men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Old Testament was preserved in the Messoretic Text and that the New Testament was preserved in the Textus Receptus. Therefore, we use the King James Version of the Bible.

We believe that all people are born totally depraved, that is, a sinner both by nature and by act.

We believe that salvation is the gift of God in grace, freely given to all that receive Jesus’ work on the cross. Salvation cannot be earned or merited, but is bestowed upon an individual by the work of the Holy Spirit in convicting the sinner, repentance from the heart, and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that salvation is in the hands of our Lord, therefore, once a person is saved, he can never lose their salvation.

We believe in a bodily resurrection of all humanity. Believers are raised to eternal life with Christ in a literal heaven while unbelievers are raised to eternal damnation in a literal hell.

We believe in the premillennial return of our Lord Jesus to this earth. His coming will be both visible and personal. Following His return, the Savior will establish His Kingdom on earth, ruling from Jerusalem, for a thousand years.

We believe that the local church is a group of professed believers in any one area. Jesus Christ is the founder of the church, the head of the church, and the purpose for which the church exists. The church gathers for worship and leaves to serve the Lord according to the dictates of His Word.

We believe that the church has but two ordinances—baptism by immersion and the Lords Supper. These two ordinances bear no sacrificial elements but are symbolic of the believers’ new life in Christ. The Lord’s Supper is to be observed using unleavened bread and grape juice as a memorial of the Lord’s death and as an anticipation of His return.

We believe that Satan is a true personality. His labor is to frustrate the work of God. Though more powerful than man, he is a created being and limited in his ability. His future is assured throughout eternity in the Lake of Fire.

Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct Must be Agreed to by all Members as terms for membership with this group.

This message board is primarily a place where believers can fellowship together with brethren of like-minded faith and doctrine.

While we invite and welcome everyone into our fellowship--we will not tolerate ANY doubtful disputations and/or infiltration  by followers of non-Christian sects.

We will post the conservative view of biblical interpretation as reflected in all of our Bible Studies and devotionals. Any thread that is posted that does not adhere to the inerrant, infallible view of the verbal and plenary inspiration of the Word of GOD will be deleted.  The King James Bible is the only Bible that we will allow to be used on this site.  The managers will make all determinations as to what constitutes proper and improper posts and may or may not provide reasons for deleting posts and/or threads.

We are NOT interested in doctrinal debate - as there are plenty of web sites for such things.  Although honest and fair questions will be answered - there will be no argument as to the position of the Administrators on matters of doctrine.

If you do not feel that you can abide by this - please do not post here - for any attempt to be divisive will only get your membership to this group revoked.

While membership in our group does not require agreement with us in every area of doctrine, for we understand that many have questions and have not yet come to a decision on some points - Anyone coming here for the express purpose of refuting the beliefs held on this site is not welcome. We desire to be a help in that regard so we do not refuse a person membership purely on the basis of disagreement, though if you are truly coming here to learn and desiring to understand what the Bible teaches, we will certainly help you and point the appropriate passages out. However, we will not allow those that are openly antagonistic toward our beliefs and doctrinal position to remain members, and it is for this reason that no one will be allowed to use a screen name that reflects another gospel or unacceptable doctrinal position. For instance: and these are only examples - no one will use the screen name of "Catholic", or "Mormon", or such like. Nor will we permit such screen names as "Evolutionist", "Post-Tribulationist", etc. Should you join our group and choose a user name unacceptable to us, we will ask you to change your screen name to something of a more appropriate nature, and allow you the opportunity to change it - if, however, you are unwilling to do so within a reasonable amount of time, your membership will be deleted.
